My friend seriously loved his but the timing chain guides started to go and he had them replaced under warranty at the dealer, which took almost 5 months and he had to get 4 different loaners because the tags timed out. Afterword it had a bunch of small issues and the dealer ended up replacing all of the coil packs and injectors as well but it was never quite right. He got tired of dealing with it and ended up selling it to some British guy with a made up sounding name who worked for the British intelligence acquisitions department or something like that. Just typical old European car things

I enjoy my Disco2. She's been in heavy DD rotation since onboarding in November. But ******* do I need to get some of the leaks worked on.

I got a lot out of watching this guy's hands on engineering comparison of a Defender Vs 79 series LC piece by piece. I think he gets it spot on, but I would add that another important factor is Toyota's parts supply chain being so widespread and well stocked so that when something does go wrong, you usually get spares anywhere in the world relatively quickly:

Is it a Honda Pilot?

Just had a crazy coincidence - last year I was at the McLean BP getting my safety inspection when a white 200 Heritage Edition pulled up. Did my inspection there again today, and an identical spec white 200 Heritage Edition stopped by again to fill up. Especially cool because that's literally my favorite Land Cruiser, and it was in the right color too.

Hope the Land Cruiser gods keep sending me signs from above. Here's the pic I took last year:

Whenever I walk through the kids clothing section I always think they should make adult versions of a lot of the shirts...but maybe I'm still a kid just with more responsibilities and bigger more expensive toys :D
