Just curious, what identifies that particular truck as a 75 Series and not a newer 79 Series?

Not an expert but 6 lug vs 5 lug is one way

Yes you read right Onur. After all the work I put into it a buddy in San Diego made an offer I couldn't refuse even though I wanted to. Sad days not having a LC to play in. Guess I have to get another

I am in Tamarindo right now and spotted the coolest 70-series round light Machito work truck today with a modified bed (box). Was on my way to surf so didn't have camera but will keep eyes peeled tomorrow for it. If you love 70-s then CR is a great place to visit...

As stated 6 lug as opposed to 5 lug. Unless the guys knows people who know people to register a diesel anything in California is a nightmare and a 79 series is to new to import. If it is a 79 series congrats to the guy on getting it in the country and registered....

Those first pictures of the cruiser ute is a 79 series. 75s have the fold down front window and shorter cab.
