Hi all,
I replaced my tailgate glass and I had to remove the spoiler. The spoiler is attached using 3 clips some 3M tape and 4 bolts.

The question is about the thin gaskets around the bolts holes. They are not in good shape after removal.
Toyota does not list any for 2013 LX. There are some for 2016+ part number 7688921040 but no idea if they are the same or not.

Question: should I wait till Tuesday to find out if they are (if I order them today) or should I just install the spoiler back as it is?

Thanks

I just used 1/2" wide automotive double-sided tape when I reattached mine. That was for the perimeter of the spoiler.

For the bolt holes I think I just used some RTV. No issues.

Thanks for the idea! I don't know why I haven't though about that. I even have some automotive silicone RTV.
I had already ordered the gaskets. But if they do not fit I'll go RTV. Leaving them as they are not a good idea as the bolts are already starting to rust. I need to clean them & put some paint on them before re-install.

I also used RTV in place of the gaskets.
