A search will yield you some helpful info, but the long and sorth of it is, dont waste your money. Just stick with OEM and be done with it.

I ran the E 3 Spark Plugs not Split fires in my F250 with the V10... saw improved mileage and power. I have been thinking about getting them.

I totally misread the original post..

IME ND Iridium plugs work well also and you won't have to change them again for 100,000 miles.

Back in 90' I was working as a Parts Manger at Pep Boys on Topanga (its now a Western Boot shop). But I'm pretty sure thats when they came out and we started carrying the splitfire line. They were stupid expensive at the time ($7 ea.). Never had we seen so many returns on plugs then with those. I never wound up trying them myself but there was always very mixed results/reviews. A lot of the issues, IIRC, revolved around proper gap and subsequent spacing between the electrodes.

I would never ever run them myself. Its a gimmick.

ran them in the chevy in my 68 and wasn't overly impressed for the money. wouldn't do it again.

What problem do these solve? What advantage do these give you over OEM?

The answer to both those questions is....nothing.

So why bother?

1ststatecruiser, if you want to see real results from a spark plug, run the OEM style copper plugs after having them cryo treated. Bottom line is your fuel economy will improve (slightly), your emmisions will go down (again, slightly) and your HP will go up. They'll also last just as long as the Iridiums. I think my YouTube dyno videos are still on here somewhere. PM me for more info.
