My engine bay is filthy, and gets very wet when I drive through puddles. I've even had to dry out my mass air flow sensor connector a couple times to clear up misfires after a puddle stomp. Anybody know of an engine/undercarriage splash shield idea?

What model 80 series are you driving, lifted or stock?

How deep are the "puddles"?

Is your MAF connector broken, pushed in all the way, or??

Do you have the factory splash shield in place under the radiator?

Puddles should be driven through slowly instead of fast. That being said sometimes it just happens. I have also experienced a slight misfire after smashing a puddle, I have always kept driving and the misfires cure themselves quickly enough.

You could fill your maf plug and other electrical connectors with some di-electric grease.

I went with RAD rubber splash shields. OE's were trashed or had blown off and MIA. Seem to be well made and fit is great. A little pricy, but what isn't .
