I've been hearing a pulsing noise starting around 45 mph. It sounds like a tire with a flat spot or a wheel bearing going bad. I just repacked the wheel bearings about 10k miles ago when I did the front brakes. I decided to go in and put some grease on the spindle bearings in case that's where the problem was coming from.
The driver's side went fine. I pulled off the dust cap and the c-clip and pressed in the spindle. I used some jerry cans and a bolt to keep it pressed in while I went around the back side and used a needle on the end of my grease gun to squirt some grease in there.
However, when I went to go do the same thing to the passenger side, it wouldn't budge. The c-clip has been removed but no matter how hard I press on it, that spindle won't budge. Any ideas what would cause this? Did I just find the cause of my pulsing noise?
