spindle nut lock washer info

just curious
i noticed today while pulling apart an old drum brake axle i had laying around. that it had a different looking spindle nut lock washer .
i was just curious if this type was ever used on the drum brake front axles ??

i'm not sure about year either . just a spare front end i had laying around

it is hard to say, but that looks like the right shape/confiruration, although it looks to be in BAD shape.

it looks very simular to the lock ring on the harmonic balancer nut up front.

hard to tell, post up some measurements.
