I'd like to get a new speedometer cable for my FZJ75, but it seems NLA.

Partsouq shows:
83710-60410 CABLE ASSY SPEEDOMETER DRIVE NO.1
83710-60370 CABLE ASSY SPEEDOMETER DRIVE NO.1 (I think this one supercedes the other one)

Ordering these so far has either shown out of stock or the order gets cancelled later from each source I've tried.

Are there any aftermarket or alternate part numbers known to work here?

I ended up getting the Nova 4x4 cable above, since I couldn't find 83710-60390 either.

They have two versions, pre and post 08/96. Not sure what the difference is but I got the post 08/96 cable. It's a Japanese origin make of Toyota 83710-60390 that @OGBeno posted above.

It seems to fit and work. However being a slightly generic aftermarket cable, it doesn't have the fittings for routing the cable on the clips on the body and some of the beefier anti chafe wrap sections. And of course, it doesn't have the built in firewall grommet which is annoying. I made a quick and dirty grommet out of some backer rod, but I'll need to get a generic grommet to put here I guess.

As for my old cable, it was held together at the t-case end with some sort of tubing clamped to hold the sheath on the end of the cable. Classic bodge job from whoever owned this before. Without this the inner cable wouldn't engage and the speedo wouldn't work. I already fixed it once temporarily with some additional zip ties to keep the cable working until I got a replacement.

I just forced my new one through the old grommet. It tore but I just said **** it.
