I was pulling on the speedo cable to get a bit more slack to plug it back into the cluster and it popped and I had more slack...

Either I pulled it out of the trans, which sems unlikely as its' threaded, or there was a clip somewhere between there and the cluster, that I pulled it out of...

Does anyone know which and have any pics of the clip or it's location?

I tried my normal trick of looking at the parts diagrams on megazip, but it only shows the cable loose.

1980 - 1987 Toyota LAND CRUISER FJ60 OEM Parts | U.S.A. sales region, , 917281 - https://www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dlya-avtomobilej/toyota/land-cruiser-38286/fj60-55814/fj60lg-ka-917281

a pic of a new cable seems to show a place for a clip and a rubber grommet....

I'm guessing it's one of those two?

There’s a cheap little clip screwed into a threaded boss underside of floor before the cable goes up through the floor. Not mission critical
