Guys, I have decided to replace the speakers in my 02' LC (with NAV). I've researched the process of this job, and have decided not to take this on myself. :frown:
Any feedback on how much it may cost to have a sound shop do the job? I called place in town and they quoted me around $400.00 parts and labor for medium grade speakers. What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance

I was quoted about $550 from a 'reputable' shop here in Denver (not a chain store like cartoys or qualityautosound etc) to replace all four speakers with a medium grade set of JL speakers. I chose to go with the top shop in the area who quoted me at roughly $450 to replace all four, but ended up spending the extra coin to do just the front two speakers but added an amp and sub as well. Set me back a little over a grand, but I'm happy with it.

So yeah, $400 is about right.

Damn, I dropped in 2- tweeters, and 4 speaker for maybe $250. All Polk audio speakers. It's a 1 banana job.

If I had to do it again I'd probably replace/keep oem speakers and just add a small amp and sub. The sub really adds the most to the overall sound in my humble opinion (and no, I don't have a trunk-rattling-teeth-knocking sub system that wakes the neighbors).
