i hate to keeeeep asking questions, but im just about wrapped up with my desmog and have a couple finishers

where can i find rubber caps for things like the (gutted) air pump tubes and the now unused air filter housing tubes? what size are they?

where can i find a block off plate for the egr outlet on the exhaust manifold? man-a-fre says theirs is only for their headers, will it work for my stock manifold?

Seems to me like you could make one of your own easily.

#1: auto parts store 5mm and maybe 8mm? should be able to find a nice assortment wherever you look.

#2: make your own.

any chance you have some pics and a write up or did I miss the thread?

no pics or write up right now. i figured with the other threads i wouldnt have much to add... but if you want some i could throw up a thread about it, eh?

and the reason i asked about buying the block off plate is cause i had to leave just about alll my fab equipment in california when i moved to colorado, and im still working on getting it out here (i dont even have an angle grinder or a drill out here... how sad).

i guess ill just give um a call tomorrow and see what they have to say for themselves...

but is there anyone that wants me to put up a thread on what all i did?

o and one more thing... im bout to pull the egr thingy on the intake manifold off to cut the pipe into the intake shorter (people say its optional but that you can do it if it makes you feel better, and it makes me feel better, so...). will i need to replace a gasket when i put it back on? if so where can i find it?

yaaa, but these are all questions that i wish i coulda found by searching, so im keeping them public so the next person can... i figure once im done ill wrap it all up in a nice inclusive desmog thread sorta like My Desmog Thread that someone did, but simpler hopefully case that thread had some inconsistancies and as far as i can tell, didnt include hac and stuff

by no means did i mean to devalue the other thread... it just left some loose ends for me, but was suuuper helpful, so maybe i include a link to it in my thread... i dunno, first i need to finish

anyways its more fun when you jump in only semi prepared and sketchily informed... its how i learn
