Wanted Something Reliable and Inexpensive in NY

Oy... need to find an affordable reliable ride.

Preferably 4wd or AWD in central NY or Northern PA. Will consider anything that requires no work, starts on the first try every time and will go anywhere. If you have any leads please reply.

Look for a good condition 94 or 95 80 series Land Cruiser WITH locking DIFFERENTIALS (ask if you are not familiar with this feature)

We are in Ithaca, NY. Seen some nice lifted 80 series driving around lately. Santa never brought that FJC for us though

I grew up in Binghamton... presently on Long Island.

Rust will be the thing that causes you the most problem when looking for a used 4wd vehicle. Depending on your intent, motivation and budget you could spend some $ on a newer local truck not yet plagued by rust... or better yet: look to source a truck from a non-road salt locale... southwest, northwest, CA...
