Went out by Sycamore creek off of 87. Started out by the north end, wound our way up a wash.

The first pic here, was coming down this steep, rutted hill, front diff got hung up. ZHad to jack it up behind the FR tire while my friend drove it off the jack.

Did pretty good overall. the OME suspension flexes nicely. Need lockers next and more aggressive tires. And rear wheel spacers.

Came out by the southern area, made a couple runs up Widowmaker hill. Couple passes did fine, others - need lockers!

Will probably go back sometime - great place to wheel.

Are you guys coming down the Sugarloaf mountain side of sycamore in the pics?

Not sure. Never been there before. Went in on the upper Sycamore area, followed a wash up, played in the hills, etc...

Hey, how do you like the aussie lockers?

map

Topo map of where we went. The far north part, there's about 400' of wash you ain't getting through unless you have 35's and lockers, short wheelbase and sliders!

Yeah, that spot, Rocker Panel Pass if I've got it right, needs a bit of spotting and lockers are helpful.

Yep, the upper part. Most people on RPP come in from the other side. My friend I was with used to have a Toy PU, 35's, ARB F/R, marlin crawler, tried getting up twice, busted a birf each time. Hence, my decision to turn around. While I wouldn't have to go up - I don't think the thing is quite ready to go down, either!

indeed great area to wheel in

I hope the ATVs don't get the better of it like they have closer to Beeline :frown:

I ran it in a similarly set up Toyota with no breakage whatsoever. It's not that bad.
