My loss, your gain. You can see my thread in 100 series tech.

Solid 215k mile truck, just did timing belt, newer tires, tundra wheels, just a good truck overall. Except the transmission is gone.

I just don't have time right now to mess with it. I'm in North Seattle, $6k and she's yours. I figure you could part out for more than that, but really I'm hoping someone with more time than me will drop in a reman transmission and keep her rolling.

Won’t move in gear, makes terrible noises. Not front splines, not flex plate. Likely transmission.

Nah, I can't see that being the best way for me to go. If I can't find a local sale of the whole truck, I'll sell to the local pull a part. Current price is $4k. Any less, and she goes to the scrap yard.

Just out of curiosity, why do you suppose the transmission went out?

I'm thinking I should have been doing more flush/fluid changes. I did it once a long time ago, and it fell off my PM schedule. We won't really know till someone tears into it though. 215k isn't bad for most cars, but this truck should have gone longer.

Any interest in working with a shipping company to get that thing to the mid west? I'd want some frame pictures & such, but man, I just hate to see this thing go. I'm in south-central Indiana.
