I have an engo 9k winch and we have confirmed power coming in and you can hear the solenoids firing but the winh won't turn. This is a fairly new winch. Any ideas? We have cleaned all contacts as well and the motor will turn when we bridge the two together on accident

If the motor will turn when you bypass the solenoids and power it directly, then it has to be the solenoids or the switch.

Thanks. So since I can hear the clicking that would mean that the remote is ok since it's sending power to the solenoids correct???

Most Chinese winches use two solenoids and both of them have to work for the motor to run.

To test the motor: Put 12V+ on one of the F terminals. Connect the other F terminal to the A terminal and it should run. Reverse the F connections and the motor should turn the other way.

I'm sorry I'm new to this, what is the F terminal?

Try smacking it with a hammer (like you would a recalcitrant starter). It could be a stuck brush or dead spot in the armature. I had a winch do that a couple times--solenoid switching, power getting to motor, motor not turning. Smacked it and voila.
