Sadly I decided to sell my gorgeous 2001 470. I wish I could keep her, but this rig was waaay to much of a truck for me. Every time I drove it I felt like I was taking a cruise boat to go water skiing. Anyways, she is gonna be gone in a few days all the way to Arizona and I menwhile purchased myself a moped, 2001 Pathfinder 3.5LE. This little buzzer is very light and jumpy, however not much better on fuel:) I never thought much about Nissans, but for $16K this thing has all the options and tows my little boat very well.
Sone day I will come back, when with another 100 series, but not just yet.

...That sucks :'(

You'll be 'mished' .. :D

Over the years I've owned 3 Nissans and I can say, without a doubt, that Nissans SUCK. They SUCKSUCKSUCKSUCKSUCKSUCKSUCKSUCKSUCKSUCK... Nissan does.

Mish,

Don't let 'em dis you too much. I just sold my '88 Pathfinder to buy a cruiser. It was 16 years old and still running strong. I don't think I replaced anything more than the water pump (at 135,000mi) and the clutch master and slave cylinders (at 150,000 mi). At 175,000mi it had no drips, very little rust, and started every time. I sold it to the janitor at work and he thinks he got the better end of the bargain.

Oh, yeah,
... no grey sludge in the radiator... :)
... and 0 headgasket problems... 8)

Then again, the 'cruiser is a quantum leap forward from the PF. Wow, what a car. Come back soon. There's only one king of the hill, and you just sold it to buy a pathfinder. :whoops:

Thank you for your moral support:) I sold LX only because after careful consideration I decided that keeping so much cash under my ass is simply not cost effective. I put this cash back in business and spent only little portion on the Poopfinder. I will definitely get cruiser 100 some time in a year, or so. 100 series are simply phenomenal.

I also looked at ML430 and 2001 4Runner and neither one was worth the money (cheap junk).

Tough decisions and everyone has different needs and taste. I sold my FZJ80 and looked at buying a LX470 2000, most of them had 50-60K miles on them. Real nice luxury rides. I ended up buying a 2004 4runner sport V8 4x4. Same engine, transmission and transfer case that is in the new 2004 LX470, it is the same vehicle as the GX470, just different sheet metal. Just a little smaller than my FZJ80 and real quick 0-60 in 7.3 seconds. Plus it has the Toyota quality that I wanted in a 4x4. I also like Nissan and had a 87 Pathfinder that served me well. Enjoy your new ride.
