This will make life easy if your installing an h55f into your 40 series. I imported this part from Australia. It has been sand blasted and powder coated black. It came from a 40 series equipped with a 5 speed at the factory. 400 plus the ride.

just curious on my end...what is different on this for the 5 speed versus 1 from a 4 speed?

I thought they were the same, and free bump.

Me too? No diff AFAIK... This should fit all 81-later 4 or 5 speed FJ4x trucks.

BTW, that stuff looks like new. It's usually rusty as heck, especially toward the driver side where the cat cooks everything.

Believe the center section was same but the L brackets changed on different wheel bases. I do agree because the of mounting holes for the crossmember being in the the same location on four and five speeds it would be the same one.

That is a specialty item, you would have to call and ask. They have 500 LC's
