SOLD!!!!! Thank you to all of you that made offers or were working towards a sale. Very much appreciated even though I am a bit sad now to be letting her go. :(

Also on CL 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser

Well, after only being allowed to own her for about 2 months...I have to sell the 1986 FJ60 I bought from a fellow Mud Member in May. Things transpired and I need to be able to do some things around the farm and for parents they cannot do themselves...and the Land Cruiser just is not capable due to size, towing capacity, functionality for what we need right now. Hopefully, I can get another old Land Cruiser in a couple years but will need a full size truck for towing and general farm hauling/work in near future. Here we go...

This rig was followed by many, myself included with Billy doing a great deal of work on her and I started to continue that with some good upgrades and fixes myself.... Here are the basics:

1986 Land Cruiser...original 2F motor with Aisin carb. It has been desmogged and is rust free as was a Texas rig prior to Billy buying her a couple years ago.

I drive this rig to work a couple times a week and nearly every weekend down to Walterboro to our property over an hour each way.

If was keeping her I would tint windows to help the AC keep her colder, new suspension, repaint, aftermarket seats, Tuffy Console and a head refresh and rebuild carb again.

Thanks... yeah we got some family property and my father is not able to hook up and tow a trailer for tractors, fertilizer, equipment, etc...he is getting too old and cant get around. Takes everything I got to keep up with it but not able to carry the sizes and weights I need to with the FJ60...so have to always borrow or get friends to help and I hate depending on that friendship and I am sure they are tired of me asking. So had to come to realization that I needed a truck first...and then can get another cruiser later. :(

I had 100 series for few years and it wont do what i need...trust me. I need a truck for our 100 acres....

Sorry to hear Brock, GLWS!

great ! Regular life member here
Were you at St Augustine...might have met you. What is your non-mud name. LOL Can PM me if trying to stay incognito... :)

Missed St. Aug unfortunately < was supposed to make it but couldn't. Thomas Burns is the name. Love the look of your rig , would feel comfortable buying from a PBS member, I'm sure we know a lot of the same people. a little more than I want to spend right now though.

I am sure you know Matt Steen in Mississippi....or Melvin Gregoire in Louisiana. Nice meeting you... Ought to do the hog hunt we have in Georgia for PBS every year...Jeff Holchin hosts it. :)

So to show you how serious I am.... Just sold my 2002 Z06 Vette to get this pickup since not sold Land Cruiser yet. Still going to sell Land Cruiser but will take lower amount since I decided to sell Vette and move forward on the new truck.

May get her sanded and painted....since the snake skin shedding on hood may push some away...haha but price will reflect the new paint job for sure.

Make me an offer...a serious one. I do have my limits but am very flexible as I just lowered the MUD PRICE on the first post. LOL
