It's still about the '97 Prado 90 V6 A/T with ABS and fulltime 4wd.

Just noticed that the brake pedal is very soft. Truck stops well enough around town and I'm not losing any fluid. Seems firm enough the first few pumps but gets close to full travel after a few cycles.

What should I check first? I it difficult to bleed ABS equipped brakes?

Attention to ABS. From Gerald

I am interested in applying for pins, brake installer and alternator installer.

I am in Miami-Dade county. Are there any openings available around here.

How old is your brakefluid? As brakefluid ages it absorbs moisture and gets spongy. If its gotten dark in colour then you should flush the system with new brakefluid and bleed it.

If your fluid is fine then I would just bleed the brakes, it's most likely air in the lines.

There is a chance it might be your mastercylinder. Try applying pressure to the brakepedal and hold it for a minute or two, if it sinks down then there is an internal leak in the MC.
