For Sale [SoCal] 1976 FJ40 2F, 4Speed, Lockers

I am selling my recently acquired FJ40.

I was planning a full resto but things have changed and I am now realizing I have no time for this project.

Here are the specs.

2F engine (factory replacement, ’79-87 vintage) 145 PSI +/- 3 compression
Rebuilt Aisin carb
3 inch MAF Safari springs
SM420 4 speed transmission (6.9:1 first gear ratio, rebuilt)
3 speed transfer case (rebuilt)
Power steering (Toyota mini truck)
Lockrite automatic locking differentials (front and rear.)
York compressor onboard air with 2 gallon tank in front bumper.
New radiator
New brakes
’79 and up Birfields
Most of the body rust has been replaced with new sheet metal.
Bottom of driver door has rust.
Includes hardtop and ambi doors.

The winch is not part of the sale.

The rig as is will be priced at SALE PENDING
I will sell the FJ without the wheels pictured (it will of course include a different set of wheels and tires), hardtop, sides or ambi doors for SALE PENDING


I have all new weatherstripes available as another sale or we can work out a package deal.

what were the smog numbers on it? Did it pass?

Yes it passed smog.

numbers are

15mhp 13.7 %CO2 1.1 %O2 48 HC (PPM) .48 CO% 186 NO (PPM)
25mhp 13.8 %CO2 0.9 %O2 36 HC (PPM) .35 CO% 197 NO (PPM)
