So interesting influencer thing here, but I gotta agree with him. RCSB rules!!

Price has to play a big part, right? It would for me. But I didn't really hear it mentioned.

It's a tired observation, but these brand new trucks are damn expensive! Mid 2000's era (peak) Toyota vehicles including 4x4's just aren't that rare, and they can be had for reasonable amounts of money. Sure, it may take a year or so of searching daily for one you want, but there are gems out there. So, why not find one used and save tens of thousands of dollars over new? And if you have the skills and time to work on an older vehicle yourself - even better.

This guy is obviously pretty pro with his use of demo vehicles. Kinda got a bit of respect as he might push them but damned sure he doesn’t damage them. I have a 2WD and a 4wd. I just got lucky last spring happened to find a 2010 RCSB myself. Missed a gorgeous 2009 RCSB mint one owner by 1 phone call. The one I got is not, but it’s solid and I’m sure happy with it. At least I don’t have to worry about scratching it, lol. To me I’d never buy a Tacoma, too small and just not my style. The deal breaker - I hate 4 door pickups. Absolutely no use for them.

Why a Tundra over a Tacoma or actually any new Toyota. Opinion piece

Maybe the recent gossip of the 3ur head gaskets lead him toward the 2uz. Personally I would gone with the 3ur. Either engine would be great with RCSB.
