I'm terrible about editing and posting pics of events lately. :sigh:

We arrived in time to eat _before_ Sand Chef. Amazing.

1. Empanadas
2. Dave's family's Lemon Meringue Pie
3. Too much judging

lol, should I bother with a fishing rod?

Hell yes.

I have caught many fish surf fishing. Surf Perch, Striped Bass and Halibut.

In the Santa Cruz area, I know of some very deep tide pools that are accesible during low tide, great for saltwater lures.

Funniest Toyota event, people make the event. Cruise Moab or Rubithon are serious wheeling events but nothing beats the social aspect of SNT.

And San Luis is one of the best towns in California to live in, in my book.

this looks like it could be a blast...

I have a pile of beater fishing rods for you to use...

no need to pack yer high-falootin' tarpon tackle.

It would be a hell of a good time.

I also have 3 or 4 surf rods I can bring too. There is a pier nearby, but hanging on the beach with the cruisers fishing would be awesome.

Yeah, I pretty much failed at getting my line wet the last 2 years, but Rob is right, this year would have been tough with the surf.
