SILVER Star
Great time playing in the snow yesterday with the 4runner, Taco FB group. Funny thing is there were a Tundra and my Landcruiser in this group! We ran FR103, off of 126 in the Jemez mountain. We mostly stayed above 8,000' and the snow was pretty deep for 4x4s. FR103 is kept open due to, I'm guessing, private property access.
I was able to make some progress past where everyone stopped but the engine was hitting 4,000rpm and the progress was painfully slow even with all tires chained up. Multiple layers of melted snow turned to ice made things quite challenging. One of the videos shows me making fresh tracks super slowly!!
