Took Isabelle out for a driving lesson and some snow play due to school getting cancelled. We started out at Cedro peak trail for the lesson then ended up sledding at Las Huertas picnic area, on the back side of the Sandia.

Excellent! Glad you were able to get out in this wonderful moisture!! I'm so hopeful that this is gonna be a good snow year!

We spent a little time sledding at the Sandia Cave, down the road from La Huerta Picnic ground. I noticed that one of the concrete barriers was pushed over. I *wonder* if the club wants to upright this barrier just for the sake of solving a problem. No tall trees are in the area, so it'd take some creative thinking.

HA! snow day... "I couldn't possibly go to school in all this..."

Isabel is growing up fast!

Thanks for posting. On multiple occasions yesterday I thought to myself "I wonder what Cedro looks like today?" Your post also had me looking forward to the future and giving my girls driving lessons in the snow. Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the snow.

I almost headed up 165 on Monday....now I wish I had!

I was wondering why the snow day, then I heard that Chilili rec'd close to nine inches of snow and the school buses were going to be in trouble.
