snow chains on craigslist (1 Viewer)

Need a lil help, search didn't find anything.

Local oppty to buy 4 snowchains/2pr for $75. Chains NIB, for 235/75/15, but I'm running 30x9.5x15. Used an on-line tire calculator to find that my tire is less than 4" larger in circumference than the 235. (cool site, includes speedo conversion: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp?action=submit)

Question is: will the chains work on my tires? I've got an email out to see if I can just go give it a try, but the wisdom of Mud could save some crawling around.

That's a good question...

It is important to have properly fitted chains, I have a gut feeling they may be a tad small. So....on a whim, I checked out tirechains.com and checked those tire sizes. The part numbers were different...now, that doesn't mean they're not the same chains, I've seen some places put different PNs on the 'same' product. But...an email to them might be a quick answer.
