Hi All. Looking to start on my cooling system refresh. As part of this work I want to get rid of my smog pump while I have all the belts off and get one of the available delete kits. Just wanted some recommendations from members about which one I should go with. I was looking at the TLC performance one here but also noticed the SOR version here which seems to be really well built. Would appreciate any experience with either of these kits and am open to suggestions about better ones. Thanks.

I’ve had Jim’s smog pump delete in my 60 for 4 or 5 years. Works great.

And that's two votes for TLC. I have Jim's queued up in the cart so was leaning that way on recommendation from Beno (and better price) but thought I would reach out on other options. Thanks for the vote.

I just took my Jim C pulley off my '86 (<1 year old) - ping me if interested in buying at a discount. I have the belt that fits it as well.

Hey thanks for the offer. Before I saw your post I had gone ahead and pulled the trigger on a new version of Jim's pulley. Already shipped so I think I am set. Seems like everyone uses his pulley. No other recommendations so just went with it. Thanks again though for the offer.

No problem... and its probably not a bad idea for me to keep it in my truck during road trips, in case my reman smog pump were ever to fail somewhere I wouldn't want to get stranded.
