Does one exist?

I am a long time forum member (own a 73 FJ40) and just picked up a ‘10 GX460. I live in Brooklyn and street park, and that can be murder on your bumpers. I want to preserve them so looking for an option for one ofthose small bull bars, but any I have found seem to interfere with the parking assist sensors.

many leads? Thanks.

Many bumpers have holes that allow for you to use your parking sensors. Did you not want to go the bumper route?

Please note that some of those bumper guards that bolt in front of your bumper are sometimes called "damage multipliers". The reason being is they don't really offer much protection at and when they do get bumped, they push into your grill, hood, bumper, headlights, whatever is behind them, thus causing much more damage than if someone just bumped your bumper.
Just a friendly heads up, if you're going to go with just a bumper guard, make sure it is really stout and can handle the parking by Braille method you guys do up there!
There are also some nice off road bumpers that leave most of the bumper intact, but are made for off roading, (read: very sturdy). You could even add a winch if you wanted! But seriously something like this:

would work great!
Oops, just realized that is for a GX470. But there are some for the 460's!

At some point I will replace the bumpers front and back, for now I am just looking for something relatively inexpensive that will help protect from parking taps here in Brooklyn where I street park.

I was just thinking, why not just let the bumpers get banged up a bit, then submit an insurance claim and with that money, get whatever bumpers you really want.
Yea, I know, one doesn't like driving a Lexus with scuffs and dings, but it's just an idea...

My ins will give the check to the repair shop OR write it out to them so that’s a no-go for me.
