Confirm fitment with distributor.

The ARB fits very snug to the body. The grill does have to be custom cut, but with a proper install it looks really nice.

Any experience with this company?

That's going to jack your front end up bad if you actually need a bull bar.

Thanks Acrad, I was going to point out that ARB is not the only song in town. My MetalTech, both front and rear, have been fine for the last 5 years.

It's the only song in town that engineers their bumpers using real life crash-test data so the airbags and crumple zones still work properly. There is no other viable choice if "What happens in an accident?" is on your list of concerns.

A Prado is not a GX (similar but not the same) and unlike most of you in the US I have owned a Prado and spend a lot of time in South America where they are a dime a dozen. Every video on YouTube that shows a Prado installation on a GX is fraught with problems.

It's functionally the same, and the changes you need to make for install are a pain in the ass, but 100% aesthetic.

All the differences are in the fascia with the front end, and maybe the rear bumper to. But suspension and other components are bolt on.

Would love a MY14+ option of simply remove the old bumper, install the new bumper. The whole cut the existing fascia is an endeavor to say the least.

It's the same. Slightly different trim pieces (plastic). I've personally seen several GXs with ARB and Ironman bull bar bumpers in DFW. They are very common. Any shop could easily install one.

I remember when these things were $1200 dollars. Not long ago. $2400! That is wild.

Unfortunately the entire front of the newer GX's are one connected piece below the hood, so removing the bumper removes almost everything attached to it including the grill. A bolt on replacement bumper would have to include all of the complicated lines which probably isn't cost effective.

"Any shop could easily install one."...HA HA! I called 4 body shops here in town and all said "NO"

I said could, not would.

Find a 4x4 shop. Probably few and far between in Wyoming.

Absolutely agree, you need to go to a shop that specializes off road accessories, like Off Road Warehouse or 4 Wheel parts. These are nation wide.
