I have a couple in WI, but i'm sure shipping wouldn't be worth it.

i've got one in colorado
10 spline output shaft out of a 80 4x4. made no noise when i drove it home.

dont really want to sell it, but i will if the price is right ;)

Are we supposed to guess where you live?

Any recking yard will have them, I got mine for 80 bucks. If you are using a cruiser Tcase get a 2wd version they have a 35 tailshaft.

why 2wd just curious

I just ordered a SM465 to 3sp adapter from Classic Cruiser.

Merle was incredibly helpfull and courteous. Might want to call him if you need an adapter or misc parts.

35 Spline tail shaft VS. 10 spline

i thought with the cruiser t-case the 10 spline was more desirable , any more info to offer up . on how to use the 35 spline with the cruiser case plate adapter or AA 5 inch long adapter

The 2WD output shaft is extended and threaded to hold the ujoint flange. You have to cut it down to get to the 35 spline section, which the AA spud shaft fits.
The 4WD version doesn't need the output shaft cut down AFAIK.
So I guess the 35 spline might be stronger but a little more trouble to adapt. I cut mine down on the radial arm saw in less than half an hour - not a problem.

i thought you new something else i was missing , i too have the 2wd version that was why i was curious why you reccomended it , i left my tranny in the engine stand held a 5 inch angle grinder up to it and had someone slowly turn the main shaft ,cut it off in a few minutes , sweet if i was to do it again i would swith to woodies one inch plate adapter using the 4wd version main shaft ,so as to have a longer rear drive shaft , i see what you are talking about, about the 2wd being stronger , fine spline , i never thought about it , also wanted to add , i have never had an issue using this setup with AA 5 inch long adapter ,

later Jake
