SM465 Question (1 Viewer)

I have a 1972 FJ55 with 350, SM465/NP205. I want to put a Ford motor in my cruiser, and was wondering if any of you knew if a Ford bellhousing will bolt up to the SM465?

Maybe Novak's, their a Jeep tranny and transfer case shop, I believe in Calf. Good luck

Isn't a 435 out of a ford with very similar gear ratios to the 465 that would be better suited for a ford motor?

Yes, but I'm already setup in the rig with the sm465/np205 and was just trying to keep from having to modify anything else outside the engine compartment. Thanks though.
