Sluggish 3VZE (3.0) when warm, almost feels like a miss.

I have a 1994, 2wd with 196,000 miles on it. When I first start it (or if it's been sitting for a few hours) it runs great, a lot of power, very smooth, great passing, no issues. However, if I drive it for 10 minutes and shut it off, the next time I start it the motor feels really sluggish and has that feel like it's running on 5 cylinders.

Do any of you have any thoughts or ideas?

Intermittent, it will come on from time to time and go off, haven't been on in about 250 miles now, it's getting 18mpg too if that makes any difference.

Just sucks cause when it first starts, it runs amazing, I love the truck!

God, I miss owning a LC just for how much those guys on mud knew about them! You'd ask something crazy about a blue wire with a yellow stripe under the seat and you'd have 40 responses in a day. Maybe the LC guys are just the most active on here or something but you'd still think some of the super easy stuff would be address in the other forums.

Next question I have I'll start the thread with "Buildup" as that seems to be the way to get people to look at the thread

Have you checked the trouble codes? If the light has been on, then there is probably something in the computer...

yes some codes turn the light on for a few seconds then it goes out but the code is still stored!
