Went to wheel my 1991 HDJ-81 VX-LTD the other day and it just bogged out in the first mudhole. Couldn't develop enough torque to spin the tires and couldn't build up revs at all with 442F. Turbo didn't seem to want to spool up. I know it's not normal as I wheeled an identical truck years ago and it was a beast in the mud.

Thinking it's either lack of fuel or air. Maybe the injectors but they were done not long ago. Possibly a bad tune. Seems to have plenty of power on the highway.

What should I start looking at?

Thats a good point. I'm not seeing the cloud of black when i gunned my old truck. Points too a lack of fuel off the start.

Didn't actually glance at the revs but even gunned it felt like they wouldn't build up for like a minute and a half in the 4-600 range.

you were definately in low range? Mad that mistake in my mates 80 once, was useless till we clicked low range.
Funny enough it had been so long since I had gone wheeling I actually forgot to gear down when we hit the bush and yeah the very first hole was in high range. It was much better in Low range but was still way too sluggish to do any bogging.
