I have an 80 series with 896000 miles on original frame and body. I am now starting to notice a slight wooble in the front end. Should I change by gear oil now?

Wow 896,000 miles and your just now going to change your gear oil!!! Yea I'd say any time during the next 1 or 2 hundred thousand miles would be good.

Gotta be a typo or somebody had too much to drink while posting.

Hell no! That gear oil has proven itself to be impervious to wear. What's a wooble?:flipoff2:

:hhmm:

Changing fluid doesn't fix wobbles while driving.

Check:
Driveline U-joints
Tie rod ends
Wheel bearings
Tires for correct balance
Bent rims
Worn steering dampener shock

Then report back so we can advise based on info gathered to help you.
