Thanks, I have the same color LX (only stock), I thought it would look really bad with the black bumpers, but its alot better than I thought. Painting the rims black seems to help bring it together.

Do you have any plans to make the trim black or paint the bumpers grey?

No, I am fine with the black. Hell, the truck never matched anyways, with the green and then gray bumpers/cladding.

If I did anything, I would rid myself of that damn cladding, like loud. Although looking at his rig at Slee's this week, I am not quite sure what he did... looks like a spray, non-skid surface paint or something

We had an icy snow last night and discovered the locking pins froze up so the arms couldn't be swung open. I had to use a hammer to both break some of the ice loose (inside the pin housing) and then pry it up.

Any thought on how to minimize or prevent this. On the other hand, my doors were frozen too and I had to yank on them to open, so likely this is just the nature of an exposed hinged part.

More grease on the locking pins. Mine also froze and locked up in cold weather before I started cleaning and regreasing them annually - which I think was actually recommended in the installation instructions.

I tried my hitch haul (that I use to carry an over-sized cooler) on the back. I do have one of those mounts that allows you to fold up the hitch haul which extends it out a little ways. I happy to report that with that mount it extends far enough back to clear the rear tire.

Sorry for the pic, I accidentally deleted the side angle pics and didn't want to re-take them. The bad news is with the cooler on the hitch haul there is no swinging out the arms and therefore access to the rear hatch unless you remove the cooler - to be expected and not a big deal.

Is it just me or is the hole in the 2" receiver not 5/8"? I can't get any of my 5/8" pins/bolts or D shackles through it - the bolt on D shackles are 5/8" right, I know my pins/bolts aren't nay bigger than 5/8"?

I am on the verge of drilling out the hole but not excited about messing up the powder coating.

Also, can someone take a pic and post the hardware that came with the bumper to mount a hi-jack - I can't seem to find it among all my misc hardware and don't know exactly what I am looking for.

Huh, none of my pins will fit, the locking one or the ones with the cotter-type pin.

The hole in the receiver is 1/2 inch not 5/8. Don't know why, they all should be standard IMO. I found a locking pin that fits both 1/2 and 5/8. So, unless you want to drill it out go find another pin, not a big deal.

However I do have a pin here that is .607" and it fits all the bumpers we have in the shop. Seems like there is some variations on the pins. I believe the holes are currently about .620" and that is slightly undersize. One should be able to get a pin that fits by measuring it.

It is not 1/2", I am pretty sure of that.

So it's not me. I could pound a 5/8" in there pretty easily... I just tried. But, getting it out would be an effort.

I was trying to avoid buying a smaller locking pin so I may end up drilling it - can I just touch up the powdercoating like you did on the ARB bumper after grinding the tab off?

yup, and come to think of it, that's the only thing that's been in my receiver.

While I dont have this problem (or even a 100 series truck for that matter) I do have a pin made by masterlock out of stainless steel, it is a thing of beauty, and it came with a sleeve that fits over the 1/2 inch shaft to make it 5/8 inch. Pick this up and youre covered. It wasnt expensive, and the stainless is nice if you launch your boat in a marine environment, or hell, if you even live near the coast. Corroding the pin in place is now a non issue.
