Coming out of paint today.

Don't your pictures show the bumper stock as it shipped from Slee? 60% gloss black powdercoat or almost grayish? I'm sure it will look great when you are done. I really like color matched bumpers or something a little different. Looking forward to more pictures...

Got everything bolted to spec and good looking. She leans a little to the right when looking from straight behind....hoping my LC springs will fix that when I replace the weak LX springs that are 14 years old or so.

Black on gold is still growing on me, I think once more black armor and stuff goes on and I do grey Line-X where the trim is it will look better

Nope, Slee has a solid black powder coat. See DallasCrzr pics.

My rear bumper was painted bronze to match my front ARB and the two tone factory color scheme. More pics to come in daylight when everything is mounted.

Interesting... Your pictures look similar to many posted here on the Slee site:
Slee - Toyota 100 Series Land Cruiser Rear Bumper

Many pictures do not look black so I thought the 60% black color might just be grayish in person. I'm also on a laptop so my resolution or colors may be skewed a bit.

In any event I'm sure the paint job will look very good. I assume you or your paint guy just did a durable Epoxy or Urethane paint over the powdercoating?

Gray was the boss's special color.

The grey shows the design better.

And all the scratches.

I remember when Schottzz used to get all kinds of crap for color matching his bumpers. Now it, and TRD stickers are the norm. Full circle, I guess? Bumper does look good in that color. Nice looking 100.

I simply color matched my truck.

Bumper is on, but late with the 2nd swing-out due to the paint shop having to repaint the ladder. Again, this is one finely engineered and fabricated bumper. The swing out is a little cumbersome to open due to the fact you have to pull up on the spring pin and kind of lift the other end of the swing out at one time, but everything else is top notch.

Looks awesome, Jason. That is EXACTLY how my truck will look once I get my rear Slee bumper. Even our front bumpers are the same and painted. What springs are you running and tires?

tried to put all that info in my signature now.

Your sig does not say which springs you have.

Looks great! I like the color too...I am trying to figure out a way to use high-end mountain bike parts to fab a remote lever-actuated mechanism that inserts between the ball and the pin bracket. Pulling the lever (mounted on the driver's side of the tire bracket), pushes the ball up and therefore you don't have to reach over to the pass side. If the system lever system fails, you fall back to using the ball in the regular fashion.

Yes, Slee Springs

Just a guess here but most likely the Slee springs SOF2RH | 2" | 300-500 lbs

Looking good Mr. Braswell. Paint job came out very nice.
Thanks! and you are correct!! They ride great and the level look is perfect with this bumper. Other than the above info from their site, Slee is pretty closed lip about the specs on these . :smokin:

Hell of an idea! You must agree with the PITA factor then.?:hillbilly:

What do you mean you have to lift one end of the swing as you pull the pin? You mean actually lift UP on it or swing it out as you pull the pin?

You are not lifting up the arm. You have to unlatch the arm, pull up the spring-loaded pin by the spindle then swing out the arm.

So many companies could learn so much from Slee.

here, on the forums, talking to customers, accountable for products, constantly undergoing product development. The antithesis of marketing myopia!

As a marketing and brand manager, I salute you sir!
