I swapped my 6" springs to the 4" springs because I simply wasn't running enough gear on the trail to warrant the 6" heavies...and I was feeling a bit tippy down here in the SouthEast with all the offcamber, slippery stuff that I tend to get into.

So, here it goes:

so are you bumpstoping those so you have no uptravel? Looks like they are going to rub bad.

I was actually considering the same setup.

Thats the way Dan. Low and slow!;)By the way, you have a package comin' to ya.

I like it Dan! I have decided to stick with my original California plan of 4" over going any higher now that I am back in the South. I just feel that it will be high enough for what I want to do and obviously more balanced.

Man, that thing needs a wax job!

I guess washing it would be a good idea. Been about 4 months and 6 rides.

I flexed it a bit in the yard an have some good up travel with no rubbing in mild flex. I suspect I will rub in extreme flex...but I do have it bump stopped to prevent complete rub/bind.

I like the lower stance and the lower COG a LOT. I also think it looks cool :)

Perspective also helps...there is a 6" gap above my DS front tire...there is room there to move.

Other than going flareless, droping bumpstops, what else have you done to run the 37's?

Are these the 37's or 36's that are 37's, if you know what I mean?

Since these are wider tires (13.5") did you need wheel spacers?

Any other upgrades in the axle department?

So are you running the double cardan Slee driveshaft...or is it stock?

DC front and rear.

Changing springs isnt gonna make him rub any more if he wasnt rubbing to begin with. If he was rubbing with the 6" springs, then yea...he will rub more often, not any worse though.

don't want to get into this battle.

just seems that riding two inches higher off the frame would cause less "full stuff" situations. That's all.

nickle and diming here....:flipoff2:

Honestly the 6" heavies were so stiff (since I wasn't running at the load they are rated for) that I rarely could stuff to any extent anyway...hence the change.

I plan on dropping the spacers, redoing my shock setup, cutting a bit on the fenders, and installing a 3-link as a project at some point.
