The TRD Pro Tundra has a a .25" thick aluminum stamped skid plate w/ oil filter access window…. Hmmmm... Let's see what it takes to fit it up. Pictures won't upload right now, I'll try again later.

That would be very nice! Standing by ...

Here it is… The two front corners (top of the pic) mount to the recovery hook bolts. What else will align is unknown. Filter access door has the four bolts, lower left (again, in pic) looks to be trimmed for oil pan to drain.

Speaking of oil filter access, how about the LC 200 alternator? On a LR forum recently they were discussing the alternator because a guy had to drive a couple hours to get out of a trail in Australia:
-mounted low/below suggested vehicle wading depth
-difficult to access for replacement
-obviously not sealed for water submersion

How is the LC and LX alternator in this regard ?

Its mounted about the same level as the top of the fender opening (and the diff breathers) so if you are moving too fast and lose the bow wake you could get it full of water. Its the mud and dirt that kills the brushes though. Luckily, the starter is located on top of the motor under the intake manifold. Protects it from water, but makes a lot of removal to change when it does finally fail.

I have a solution on drawing board (for many years now) to help prevent the issues with low mounting of the alternator. As for R&R, I have yet to swap one… the manual say the PS pump needs to come out in order for to the alternator to be removed. This may or may not be the case…

In between the V and under the manifold is the starter location on the older 4.7 2UZ. The 5.7 3UR has a more traditional side mount, but it too appears to be a pita to replace.

any luck if it will fit lc200?

Nothing to add at this point. This is another project that needs completion... with my upcoming move over the winter to a better garage with a lift, it finally will.

I believe that some folks in Australia upgrade to a sealed, water-cooled alternator. But they typically run V8 diesel engines, so I doubt their solution would fit our 5.7. Also, check out the price: Sealed Alternator
