Save the skid money and get a 3/8” cordless impact. Just under a minute to remove all 3 necessary parts.
If you use it to reinstall take it very very easy and final torque by hand.
Did you mean a 34” or 35? J/KJust putting this out there, but an investment in bigger 33" tires and a mild sensor lift may negate the need for skids at all. At least until rock crawling at a level that demands it again.
Step 1: Remove OEM skid, mark approx location of oil filter.
Step 2: Borrow a 4" hole saw from your plumber friend, drill a hole in the skid. Clean up hole with a file and emery paper, spray with some satin black paint.
Step 3: Reinstall, return hole saw to friend with a cold beverage as payment.
