It is a very pretty place. Just north of Zion, very seldom anyone around. There are Aspens in the area nearing four feet around. I have never seen Aspens that large anywhere else. The Virgin River Rim mountain bike trails starts very close to this area.
While we were there, we had a fly over from the Air Force guys out of Las Vegas. They seem to buzz the lake, normally on Monday morning. You can actually see the names on the plane as they fly over, they are that low. I love the place, outside of Ouray, Colorado, it is my favorite place to camp. Not much off roading, but some fantastic mountain biking.

It is a beautiful place, Colorado is just fantastic for 4X4 camping and great mountain biking, Navajo Lake, Utah is second on my list.
Just did a run up to Flat Top in Glenwood Springs, again miles and miles of trails to drive. Quite a trip up, on the one tough turn we got hit by rain so heavy you could not see the front of the truck and then it turned to hail, had to winch up. Had a ball, as we see rain so seldom in Cali.
