I have a new set of 31X10.50 MT/Rs and would like to sipe them for better grip on icy and wet mountian roads. I am in California, and don't know of anyone who does this, so expect I will do it myself.

What is the correct tool and procedure for sipping tires? Any 'gotchas'?

Thanks.

Discount or America Tire has the machine, so does Les Schawb(sp) in WA. For new tires they charge $7(or free if ya work em) for used they charge more, like $10......prolly cause they got to get the rocks and crap out 1st.

or get the Skillsaw out :D

Thanks, gentlemen! I doubt that I will find this avaiable nearby as a service, so I will order the tool and have at it myself... soon as my 60 comes back with its new H55F, clutch, TCase rebuild, PS and smog pump, etc. NEXT WEEK!

Thanks again.
