WOW, very nice work.
I'm surprised we don't get the dual cab tub here, i know most single cab utes hilux, landcruiser, patrols etc run trays but majority of other dual cabs run tubs.
Just need some sort of rear flares and painted silver to match.
Thumbs up.

Cheers guys :). Im am trying to source some factory toyota flares for the rear. But they seem to be harded then the tray itself

If you ask Wong nice enough he might be able to give you a part number.

How did the tub mounts line up with chassis mounts.

If you get rear flares looks like they might have to sit over the black plastic on the back of the cab.

It's probably why the lx model dual cabs in uae etc come with skinny rims like the lx (gxl) troopys here because Toyota are to useless to put rear flares on them so they have to remove the alloy wheels aswell.

I did see a few weeks back a couple of cruisers on the back of a car carrier, the stock work mate dual cab had a tub on it and they looked brand spankers and no plates on them.
So there are a few oem dual cab tubs in Aus

NOT a part number but many part numbers.:D:D

They should have a different flare for the dual cab model.

Toyota put split rims or skinys on dual cabs with oem tubs to get away with not making rear flares.
If they were to use on the LX dual cabs the LX alloys Like on the 71,76,79 they would need flares due to the wider rims

Very nice work with a fantastic outcome. I like it a lot. I agree it needs rear flares and if you take it to SA, the cops will salivate at the chance to defect you in a new rig.

Thanks alot guys, much appericated.

For some weird reason Toyota NZ doesnt even know that a wellside deck was ever offered for a landcruiser 70 series.
Actually they dont really know anything if its not in the bloody book lol.

im a trying to also get a set of split rims so i can chuck some muddies on there.

Mr Wong would you please be able to give me the part numbers so that i can see if toyota nz will be ablke to get me some flares, i will most likely have to mod the flares a little to get it to fit as my tray is slightly different to the dual cab tray and very different to a single cab tray :p.

Thanks alot for the feedback guys ;)

quit yah whinning ... at least you can buy a brand new Land Cruiser pickup.
some of us have to build what we want from wrecks.

still, i hear what you are sayin. PITA when a parts drone isn't willing to step outside their comfort zone, eh?

I would love to have a good parts man working at toyota. Well they are good with the basics but never like to use their brains lol

You guys are talented enough to build your own, maybe thats why toyota doesnt sell them there ;)

Thank you Wong :)
