So I need a Subaru engine shipped here but it seems like most of the freight companies are only willing to deliver to a dock or if you have a forklift.... So does anyone have one or the other that they'd be ok with me using? I can think of a million ways to get an engine out of the back of a truck including just backing a pickup up to it, I just don't know how cool the semi driver would be with that. Anyone with experience with this sort of thing chime in. The engine is only a couple hundred pounds so it could easily be pushed around on the pallet.

At my old work the delivery people where pretty cool, but I don't know about if they deliver to a house. I'll check with the bossman and see what he thinks about delivering at my work. Will let you know tomorrow.

I'd call that fish "dinner"..! Nice catch!

What are you gonna do with the extra 3 feet between the engine and the radiator? Midget storage?

Oh dang! I'm getting diesel envy now.......

Leave them penguins alone and get to the bush! I'm sure you'll be bringing a diesel or two home with you!! :flamingo:

It's crooked.

Canted slightly, 5 degrees which in my five minutes of research everyone said was needed(Come to find out it is more of a hassle...) If/when I do this again I'll make the adapter with the engine vertical.

I have to admit I like the direction that post is headed! You need a electric Ghia in your future, with an autostick!! :flipoff2::steer:

Was thinking shine smuggling or Pygmy Llama rescues. :hmm:

Nobody tell the grumpy moderator that I'm spam commenting on the chat thread. I don't need a Ty Said moment ruining my chances of getting up to ten comments.
