Lots of recent essential maintenance and runs smooth.
I'm putting my Triple Locked 1997 Landcruiser 80 series up for sale. More solid than anything I've ever owned, I'd trust it anywhere. The best year they were made too!
It's on 315/75r16s (35s) with a 2.5 inch OME lift + a raptor liner paint job. Very solid undercarriage, no rust issues. Has the $1400 Deluxe ARB front bumper + a winch.
I've owned for about a year & in that time, I've done $2K+ already in maintenance and a bunch of TLC: I'll consider reasonable offers but I'm NOT desperate to sell!
The good:
238K miles (lowest you'll find right now for a 3x locked in good shape in this price range)
Undercarriage is clean. Not totally perfect but no rust problems.
Replaced the Brake Booster (OE) ($500)
Replaced radiator (Koyorad) ($350)
New OEM PS pump ($500)
Did the full messy birfs rebuild with brand new spindles ($700)
Replaced belts ($50)
New spark plugs
Changed trans fluid
Changed with oil filter, fuel filter & air filter
Upgraded sound system with touchscreen head, new front speakers, small sub in the back. New amp too.
Includes a full size spare and rear seats
Lots of other TLC like fixing sunroof drains.
I also have braided stainless brake lines for it that I haven't gotten around to installing yet. And same with some front window channel runs, I'll get to that soon. Everything electronic works EXCEPT the D light of course lol! But even the power antenna works!
The bad:
Has a rust spot on the drivers side rear wheel arch
Cracked windshield across the top (not obstructive)
Ripped driver seat
Mismatching front and rear tires. Good tread though
