hey guys! I bought some kool vue mirrors for the 80. I read through a couple good posts on the swap and have a good idea of what I'm getting into. I have read that the interior covers just pop off to get to the bolts. The mirrors were supposed to come with replacement interior covers but they didn't. I shouldn't have expected too much for 100 shipped. Mirrors seem well built though. Also, how do I remove the door speakers? Everything seems so brittle I am scared to pry too hard or in the wrong place. Thanks in advance and happy 4th of July!!!

I haven't taken off my mirrors, but here's a thread that talks about how to remove the mirrors to attach some light/antenna brackets. Another awesome yodaTEQ creation - 80 series ditch light brackets!
Speakers? Time to upgrade anyway!
The front door speaker grills are attached to the inner door skin. They come off with the skin leaving you with access to the speakers.
