I sent a text back....

About 2am Sunday morning

I've seen a few navy ones in town. Law of Attraction says if I keep thinking it, and seeing myself in one of them, that it will be.

So this is what you are shooting for? Stolen from the 100 board

Forget that. Even with airbags, the 100 series isn't that great of a tow vehicle. I tow our family boat down at the beach and do not like doing it. It pulls it and will handle the trailer, but not nearly as well as a truck with more power and leaf springs in the rear.

and there are tons of LX470s and LC's in Birmingham.

I've been to many cities, and obviously am always waiving at anyone in a Land Cruiser.... I've lived in bham for 4 months now... and I've stopped waiving. I am convinced that 100 and 200 series cruisers were made here...

A lot of rich people buy them new and sell them a few years later with extremely low miles. It is a great place to find a low mileage, well maintained vehicle that has never down anything except drive from Mountain Brook to downtown everyday. In my parking lot at work, there must be at least 8-10 100 series parked. The Lexus LS cars are a dime a dozen as well and I'm on the lookout for a nice low mileage 10 year old car to travel in.

SouthTown in Hoover had a 2006 hunnerd that bascially drove from Chelsea to downtown it's entire life... and it was perfect... exactly as you describe. Even serviced at Franklin.

Southtown is very proud of their inventory. I guess my scarsam didn't come across very well in my posting. Even the clamps in the engine bay of that 100 are rusted. If you want a 100 you can find a 100 in AL without question. Mine sold new in Dothan and when I bought it had never once had the third row folded down. I think the 2nd row had been sat in once and the radio presets were for early 60's dowop and Christian (nttawwt) stations.

Is this real life?

I did not buy it. I can't even buy a gallon of milk right now.
