This thread is so 2012

LULZ.
I'm thinking 2014 fer realz.
I need to get this Tundra in Craigslist shape since I can't trade it in. So in other words, make it desirable for a private seller. Then I can go pick me up an '06 or something... maybe even something like that 99... hell, I like that blue 97 over in MS! But it's gotta be dark blue!

its never to late to buy a land cruiser.

I heard my rear driver brake start making some noise today, I already have all new brakes on an axle sitting in the yard. might as well pick a weekend and swap axles.

drive it till i get a hit on my c-list solicitation.

I sent this guy a message.

this was his reply.

I love FJ's but the 6 cylinder won't haul anything or go by a gas station without stopping. Right now it wouldn't serve my purposes. Thanks though

I didnt realize the 4.7 was known for awesome fuel economy

It gets 50% better mileage... I'd say that's a big difference.

from edmunds and nadaa a 2000 tundra is rated at 14 and 17.

i get between 12 and 16.
not adjusting for tire size and rolling with an RTT and awning. :meh:

kait's mom has a 2013 with the 5.7 4wd, she says she gets 20mpg on the highway. but thats apples and oranges.

My mother gets 45mpg in her 2000 camry, ya'll get along very well.
Why would you even try to tell a group of fellow gas guzzler owners that you can get 16mpg in a rig that we KNOW you can't? I've owned 6 80's and driven countless more... NEVER have I gotten that good of mileage. So you want to sell the ONLY 80 in Alabama that gets that good of mileage?!

it isnt hard.

you just dont go over 2400 RPMs even while accelerating. yea its slow as s*** but I would rather drive 58-60 mph and get 15.5mpg than drive 75 and get 10.5.

I am not shy about telling people that I drive slow... I am pretty sure I announced that a dozen times during the group ride.

oh, 15.5? that's totally doable. You said 16 earlier.

If you hit quote up there you will see I said I get between 12 and 16

:flipoff2:

via mobile app.

Has anyone ever told you to run for public office? You act like the people you claim to hate. You'd be good at it.

when ever you want to have fund raiser, ill be your man in congress fighting for limited government, ending the wars, ending the spying, abolishing the federal reserve and IRS, and the collusion between the government and big business.

God bless America and no place else!
ROH TAHDE!

Talked to Chris at Cahaba brewing. His dad has a hundred that "needs some work" that he said would probably go cheap. I told him I'd pass on the info. He said he thought it was engine internals, so it may not be worth it, but it might be worth a look-see.

Sent via carrier pigeons to a computer near you using the ih8mud app.

I would, but I'm staying the course of my make-shift plan.

I spoke with him and its a screaming deal. One owner legit, all service at Toyota in Memphis, and 90k service done at 82k. Guy would take 15k. Someone buy it. The wife won't let me unless I sell an Altima and my current cruiser. Ill make deals on both.

I would and swap all my stuff over if I wasn't headed to Colorado next week. I sent it to my dad who is wanting to get out of his 2007 SLT yukon. If he still has it in a few weeks, I'll go get check it out when I'm in Memphis.
