CJ,
Rausch Creek is pretty tight for us wagon owners. I've traded paint with several of their trees, just not to the same extent as you did. That happen on trail 18? That tree looks familiar.

It is very tight for the big trucks. I was careful all day till then. I told the group that I was fried and was gona take a break after that trail. One trail too late. Any way the flares are off, I hammered out most of the dents. I just need to get off my a$$ and durabak the outside now.

Dang, maybe I should order up some stickers? I've been wanting to get some stickers made with my sig line. "Dents are like Tattoos with better stories!" I see a major trend on the DS rear quarter. My friend and I were discussing this the other night. We bought have 80s with dented DS rear quarters. He thought it was silly that we dented them on the DS where we could see. My theory is that we push the cushion on the PS because we can't see and that we cut it a little too close on the DS because we can see and then we bounce or get shifted right into the DS.

I have dents all over, why bother with pics :)

Dan, this is a perfect thread to tell others what you told me about how to get a dent out, to a certain extent anyway. I'm sure some know but I bet most do not...

Dang Ammo, those are some serious tears. They look like you were shredded and dented!!

I've heard you can get a dent out (where you can't get a hammer or anything) by sticking a deflated ball in the area (specifically in a door frame) and then pumpuing it up. It will conform to the area and also apply pressure over a wide area to pop it out. Of course this doesn't work too well when its a complex dent around edges, but it helps.

Yep, you got it. But there are no prizes to give out.

Chad, that's good stuff! I love seeing this. Shows we are actually wheelin' the heck out of these things.

Hey Busted, I think i see rear AC vents in there, do i?

i am never wheeling my 80 near trees... made it too hard to resell the FJ62...

Holy cow, you guys beat the crap out of your junk!

I'm sure I've got mine coming, just hopefully not in the too near future.

Gotta make you feel kinda cool though... or maybe just foolish :flipoff2: . Either way, at least you had fun.

Let me ask newbie questions. Those trail damages cover by insurance? Are you guys going to fix it?

I'd show mine, but they'd be boring in comparison...

I guess I just drive better than y'all do

:D :flipoff2: :D
