Probably the same Ford pickup that was turned into the trailer.

And parking brakes are nice on trailers. My two M100 jeep trailers have them. Easier to handle and park than my civilian Bantam jeep trailer and old Ford pickup trailer that lack them.

X2! What was the donor vehicle?

The donor vehicle was a 78 Ford pick up for the parking brake and the trailer. A gal gave me the stripped down pick up for free, but I had to take the seven years worth of garbage in the box with it. So far, including the bill for going to the dump, I have about $160.00 in the whole thing. I still have to add the propane tanks, batteries, water tank and pump, get a pump and hook ups for the stock gas tank (I'll use it as a aux. tank), roof rack for the canopy, RTT, dual swing out spare tires off a bumper that I still need to build....and so on and so on.........I will be taking this off road, just not on jeep trails. Next year I'm building a small trailer to tow behind my Wrangler.

I'm with Brian on this one. Some people don't worry about a parking brake,

Having an operable parking brake is a very good thing on the trail and camping. It's makes dealing with turning around in tight places and making sure it doesn't take off down the hill a LOT easier.

LOL, that's how I got my beater Ford pickup trailer.

A coworker asked if I wanted a "free trailer". I said, "What's the catch?" That turned out to be the pickup camper that was on it.

Showed up at his house, and the camper was a total POS. Corroded, moldy, corners split, full of junk and trash.

He asked if I still wanted it. I said sure. Just tell me where the nearest dump is.

Hauled the trailer about five miles to the dump. Cost me $30 to get ride of the camper and junk. Two forklifts came out, stuck the forks right through the side windows and lifted it off. I drove out from under it. Then a huge-by-large earthmoving machine came over and used its bucket to mash it flat, then shove it into the pit.

The trailer is a rust bucket, but I don't care. It was free. We beat it up hauling crap metal, trash, and gravel. Leave the eyesore parked at my mother-in-law's ranch. They often use it there as well.

BTW, my coworker's dad was living in this trailer at the coast. At least it was insulated, but living under a bridge would have been drier. He was convinced to move into a nursing home.

I don't know about a jeep trailer but my off road trailer has air-condition does that count lol.

Not sure whether you need a bigger generator, a bigger air conditioner, or both:confused:
:D

For a cheap small generator it actualy dose very well and quiet to! Runs the 5000 btu window unit and the trailer battery charger no problem for about 3-4 hours on 1 gallon. And the roof top tent stays nice and chilly with the ceiling fan! Keeps my lady happy!

My RTT has an AC access!!!

Here is my soon to be finished trailer and accessory, Hot Water Box, 6 gal water heater, sink and outdoor shower!

Made a hanger for my 5# propane tank " I was too cheap to buy one.
Brake pressed a U shape to hold the sides and an L shape to hold top to bottom.
Two clevis pins to hold a bungee strap and a bolt through the safety lip to lock it down.

Mounted two 1 1/4" hitch receivers under the tub to hold a diamond plate cooking area.
