I just ordered an Aeroturbine AT3030XL muffler, and will be getting a custom fabricated 3" exhaust built. I'm looking for ideas for exhaust tips/termination. Currently I have a "fart can" resonator with a 5" rolled outlet facing straight back. Being a diesel, I'd like to be able to keep an eye on the smoke situation in my side view mirror, so I'm leaning towards a side facing outlet. I do wheel occasionally, so protection is important. But it is right beside the hitch so there's some built-in protection. I have no plans on changing from the stock rear bumper.
