What are a set of doors in decent condition worth in Australia?
I'm loathe to hack into these as they are rust free but I want a set if cut down doors.
I'd rather sell them to someone who wants them and buy fibreglass cut down doors.

That is a LX dash.

It isn't only a LX dash, it's a dash from 1981 onwards so everything got them. Has a dash pad as well for added safety.

Looks like an 82-84 model, what does the compliance plate say.

Wow. 4 degree shims from the U.S., $25 plus $15 delivery.
From Eureka off-road here in Oz, $60 plus delivery.
For a used set.

So the hand throttle on this is very much similar to the choke adjustment, not very fine.
On my FJ73 the hand throttle was either push/pull or screw in/out it had such a fine adjustment in it.
Anyone know where I could find such a hand throttle for the 40?

I live in a small town called Exmouth in the northwest of WA but I reckon a sojourn of 40s to the top end would be an awesome experience.

Exmouth yes but I have not been there.
This explains why it looks like Darwin.
It would be good to arrange a fleet of 40 owners and descend on Exmouth for a week end.
I want to do the around Australia trip in my 40 when finished . Hopefully this will be next year.
Work keeps getting in my way.
I will track down the panel supplier next week on my return to Australia .

Where are you from? Exmouth is a trek from Perth, let alone anywhere else.

Home is Brisbane.
Yes you are a long way from most places but that adds all to the fun of getting there.
Exmouth is a place I have on my list to see.
When finished the Forty series will be used and not a show pony.
My build stage is up to painting and I hope this to happen this month.
